Note the large displays and buttons - highly recommended
One of my new years resolutions was to get rid of an old GE 5.8 GHz cordless phone that had gone past it's used by date and replace it with the latest available technology. After lots of research it became clear that Panasonic is way ahead of the rest in features and product quality. The final short list was a toss up between 2 Panasonic high end phones KX-TG7432B and the KX-TG6432M. They have almost identical features as far as I could tell, but the 74xxxx has got Choicemail as well as call blocking and talking CID. There wasn't a lot of difference in cost so we I decided to go with the latest.
There is a lot to play with on these phones: call blocking, sleep mode, alarm and intercom are some of my favorite features. But they're also elegant and stylish while providing all the functionality I was looking for.
The latest Panasonics all use standard rechargeable batteries. They can be easily replaced by just going out and buying new ones instead of having to order manufacturer specific battery packs. I'm impressed by this kind of innovation.
The package I bought came with 2 handsets included. It can connect up to 6 handsets plus the main base unit. I now regret not getting the 4 handset package. It's only slightly more expensive. We will probably end up adding another 2 so there's a handset in all the main living areas of the house.
Without doubt this is the best cordless phone I've ever owned and highly recommend it.
