Vtech CS6219-2 - Great telephones for hard of hearing

I do not hear well. I've always experienced difficulty whenever I would attempt to talk on the phone. Since that is the case I have tried numerous phones over the course of the years. Late last year I received the Vtech CS6219-2 as a Christmas gift from my son and I must say that so far I'm pretty certain that this is one of the best telephones for hard of hearing.
The buttons are large without being intrusive and making the phone look bulky. I think it's great for older folks. The volume options are excellent as I am able to turn it up loud enough for me to actually hear clearly what others are saying to me.
It's good to have two handsets. I tend to misplace phones as I live in a big house and it's useful to have a second unit on those occasions.
I'd like to mention that this phone does not include a built in answering machine. In our case we use a voicemail service and have no need for an answering machine as well.
