Vtech DECT 6.0 cordless with answering CS6229-2

I have gone through many cordless phones over the years. It's not that I expect much from them, but I've found most to be defective. This phone is perfect. I've used this phone for a week and it is crystal clear, no interference. My 5.8 Ghz phone would let me talk with a range of about 100 feet, but this telephone lets me go to the end of my driveway, across a cul de sac and into my neighbor's driveway without loss of sound - about 350 feet.

Battery life is also awesome. I make a lot of conference calls from my home, and I'm on the phone about 6 hours per day. I've made 2 days of calls, about 11 hours in total and the battery indicator still shows a full charge without re-charging. My 5.8 Ghz phone had a max talk time of about 5 hours.

Overall, this is a really good phone, they work great, have great sound, and the battery life is amazing. I'm really happy with this purchase. You should consider DECT 6.0 phones. They're MUCH better than 5.8Ghz technology in my opinion.
